Home Care isn’t always related to personal, medical or mobility care, it can be something as simple as companionship.
Companionship Care is where an elderly person or young adult could benefit from regular visits from a regular face. In some instances even Live-In Companionship is beneficial. Companionship Care is available both as an Hourly Care service from just £17 and hour or Live-In Care from £725 per week.
Companionship Home Care can help provide company for loved ones, this is often useful following the loss of a family member or partner. It could also to just pop round for a cup a bit of a gossip over a cup of tea and a biscuit, which helps incredibly to reduce loneliness when family members live far away and are unable to visit regularly.
Churchill Home Care can also assist with a trip to the grocery store, to the bank or post office, and general assistance with running errands. Even a trip out to the shopping mall to buy some new clothes.
Going on a holiday is something we all look forward to and enjoy, it can lift our spirits and renew us. Companionship Care can also help offer support on a trip abroad, a staycation or even just a day trip to the seaside.
We understand that when providing Companionship Care it is important that the carer is suited to your loved one. So we will always work with you to match you with a carer who shares your interests and hobbies and has a similar personality and demeanour to them. Usually, our carers are required to wear uniforms for Hourly Care. However, when it comes to Companionship Home Care, this is optional depending on your loved one’s wishes. Quite often they prefer the carers to wear casual clothes as it helps to build the rapport and friendship.
