What is Respite Care?

Respite Care provides temporary care for loved ones for when their normal caregivers are unavailable. Usually, this type of care is used during the recovery of a surgery, illness or accident, when the normal caregivers require additional or specialist support. This temporary care is also useful for when the normal full-time carer needs to take a break, go on holiday, becomes ill or has a family problem.

This kind of care helps loved ones to remain in their own homes, in familiar surroundings, without changing their routine whilst their normal caregiver is unavailable. Respite Home Care is available both as Hourly Care and full Live-In Care.
