Frequently Asked Questions

Below we’ve answered the questions we get asked about the most with regards to Visiting Care.

What is Visiting Care?

Visiting Care provides the support you need from as little as an hour a week to several visits a day, helping you to remain in the comfort of your own home.

The carers have specialist training in order to provide low to mid-level assistance. They are experienced in assisting with medical, physical and behavioural issues. The carers provide ongoing companionship to help your loved one get more out of every day.

How Much Does Visiting Care Cost?

The cost of Visiting Care can vary depending on the needs of the customer. However, our pricing starts at £20 an hour, a fraction of the cost of a nursing home. Feel free to call us for a bespoke quote.

Is Financial Support Available?

There are some financial support options available. However, they depend on both medical and financial circumstances.

Assistance from local or national government schemes may be available or a release of equity in property to access a tax-free lump sum could also be an option.

You can view more about financial support here.

What is a Direct Payment?

Direct Payments are one of the ways in which you can receive funding from your local authority for your Personal Health Budget or Social Care Funding.

Direct Payments allow you to arrange your own care with the provider you choose at the times you wish, rather than the council arranging it on your behalf.

You can read more about Direct Payments here.
